Minimum qualifications:

- 8 years of experience in network installation, network infrastructure, and optical networking
- 5 years of experience in people management
- 5 years of experience in colocation and with data center operations
- 5 years of experience in program management within a technical field

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Experience in operations management
- Experience with operations and third-part colocation environments

**About the job**:
As the Deployment Lead of the Network Delivery Implementation team, you will be on the forefront of our efforts to execute deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will work with Design/Infrastructure Engineers, Field Engineers, Strategic Negotiators, and Technical Project Managers within Google, as well as construction and telecommunications Vendors and Contractors, all to position your team and Organization for success.

Your leadership and management skills will be leveraged to facilitate faster, better, and more efficient, positive outcomes for the business and our customers. Your team's objective will be to build the world’s most reliable, cost-effective, and scalable network to support all of our current and future customers and users globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee a team of network engineers responsible for the delivery of network capacity and infrastructure across a defined geographical region in Asia Pacific (APAC).
- Set team level direction and strategy. Build, develop, and grow team capabilities to deliver key business outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities delivering business outcomes and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Work with partner network teams to assess risks and potentials in alignment with forecasts and high-level build to plan.
- Identify and drive new initiatives/programs/processes to create efficiency/process improvements/optimize resources and address gaps/risk cross-functionally.
