**Business Applications Engineer**

**SUMMARY**:

- Our client is a global private markets investment manager that invests across private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure and private infrastructure on behalf of their clients globally. They are currently looking for a Business Applications Engineer to join their growing team.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work in the Relationship and Process Management platform contributing to and guiding the efforts of development teams (internal/external team members) and vendors
- Working with various teams (business and technology) to understand existing business processes and work with cross-functional teams to implement those processes in a modern low-code/no-code solution (Unqork)
- Conduct workshops with technology stakeholders to understand document workflows and process maps
- Design automation initiatives assuring optimal business and functional delivery
- Conduct performance reviews, communicate findings and make recommendations for improvement in area of ownership
- Ensure that solutions are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Own the relationships with key vendors in the space including contract negotiation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project and solution documentation
- Plan, monitor, track and communicate project progress
- nsure adherence to change management and security by design practices

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent record of academic achievement, ideally Bachelors, MSc in Information Systems or similar
- At least 5-7 years of experience in software engineering/integration preferably in the financial sector
- Knowledge of BPM concepts and solutions (SaaS solutions i.e. Unqork)
- Strong project management and personal organization skills
- Experience managing SaaS based solutions including vendor relationships and building interfaces
- Experience coordinating with business users and developers to solve business requirements with entrepreneurial mindset to constantly improve the status quo
- Familiarity with coding practices in a programming language such as Java or Python
- Excellent communicator with a team-oriented approach
- Agile or similar development methodology experience not required but a plus
- Experience with relational databases and data engineering using TSQL
- Knowledge of private markets industry or asset management
- Experience with cloud services (i.e. AWS or Azure)
