The VP of Project Management is a pivotal leadership role within Embed Solutions Group, responsible for overseeing the entire project management function. You will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of project managers at multiple levels, ensuring the effective delivery of projects across the organization.

This position shapes the future of project management and drive Embed Solution Groups’ continued success.

This role will oversee all aspects of projects, create repeatable structure to facilitate deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of the project, and ensure that a critical path is maintained.

Working directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

You will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will identify gaps in processes or skills as needed to fulfill internal client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish, implement and enforce structures, processes and strategies for all members operationally participating in a project.
- Analyze, plan and be responsible in generating requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
- Assign and oversee technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
- Collaborate in regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address questions and/or challenges regarding projects
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for internal and external staff required for specific projects or initiatives
- Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
- Ensure the proper observance and fulfilment of Embed SLAs
- Liaise directly with clients to ensure an on-strategy solution to their current requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Experience mentoring, coaching and developing talent in a cross-department capacity
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising inter-departmental teams
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a collaborative mentality
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Strong technical capability of databases, on-premise systems as well as cloud based SaaS systems and platforms
- Strong ability to manage expectations negotiate and establish win-win scenarios.
