We started 4 years ago and have already grown to become the largest kids’ entertainment company on digital platforms in the world. We own some of the most popular digital kids’ IP in the world, including CoComelon, the biggest kids show on both Netflix and YouTube, Blippi, the biggest presenter-led kids show in the world, Little Baby Bum, My Magic Pet Morphle and many more.
We are a global company, with our two main offices based in London and Los Angeles.
**The Role**:
With strong organisational and communication skills they will leverage industry knowledge and trends to advise on developing new business opportunities and execute them. With a curious mindset and out of the box thinking, they will conduct research and interviews to gain a profound understanding of key success factors in market. Based on relevant and strong analysis they will deduct, map and present clear recommendations to Senior Management for further geographical expansion.
The role will then co-lead the actual execution of such expansion projects partnering with Moonbug’s commercial teams and other key stakeholders in the organization such as Creative, Production, Legal, Marketing or Finance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Generate new partnerships and business activities across APAC
- Conduction of market studies and definition of entry strategies through extended research, interviews and relevant analysis
- Present recommendations to Senior Management in partnership with Moonbug’s commercials teams (Ad Sales, L&M, Distribution, other adjacent)
- Build strong relationships to key local stakeholders in largest APAC markets; leverage this network in executing market entry processes
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders including legal, marketing, finance, consumer products, production and creative development
- Keep abreast of key industry trends and market research
- Represent the team in weekly internal calls; actively liaise with other Moonbug departments
Travel to APAC core markets to build on the ground network, identify business opportunities and liaise with potential partners
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Commercial mindset with out of the box sense for new opportunities
- Strong understanding of different cultures and openness for new ideas
- Ability to adapt to local requirements and habits
- Analytical and used to interpreting data
- Additional language(s) relevant in APAC a plus: ideally Mandarin
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Must be detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, continually changing environment
