About the Role
Make your mark by helping us enable ops to create experiences that matters to our employees and customers, through embedding data and analytics pervasively through operations. In your role as a Data Translator, you will lead and partner Ops strategically in this journey. Your focus will be on ensuring we break new grounds sustainably and create economic impact within Ops. This will require key partnerships across business, technology, transformation and data chapter teams.

**Responsibilities**:Strategic delivery & Thought Leadership**:

- Collaborate and support Key Functional Stakeholders within Operations to understand business/servicing opportunities, proactively identify meaningful data insights and devise the right analytics products and recommendations.
- SME in driving scalable data and advanced analytical solutions with economic impact
- Translate business problem/opportunities into tangible analytics requirements including AIML initiatives (and GenAI opportunities)
- Conduct data profiling, analysis and metadata-driven ingestion of structured and unstructured data, adhering to data governance standards.
- Evaluate new techniques and technologies in industry to address business challenges and to leverage for internal improvements
- As a squad lead - coordinate tasks, ensure deadlines are met, provide support and guidance to squad members, and serve as a liaison between the team and higher management.
- Manage a portfolio of initiatives across Operate and Build effectively taking into consideration the lens of priority, impact, and risk.
- Oversee the measurement, development, and execution of initiatives and workstreams
- Ensure robust documentation of data processes, standards, best practices and guidelines for the BI team.
- Champion a culture of experimentation and test-learn-scale approach to drive continuous improvement towards target outcomes

**Strong Collaborator & Operational Excellence**:

- Work with Senior Management to develop analytical strategies, present analyses and recommendations in strategic reviews to stakeholders and senior leaders using data-driven storytelling to drive improvements in the business operations
- Foster strong collaboration between Business, Technology, and Data SME teams to ensure cohesive integration of data and advanced analytics.
- Understand Voice of the Customer (VOC), manage business challenges, and challenge status quo to shape our strategy across deliverables.
- Lead the overall reporting and updates to executive forums and stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in data analytics and business intelligence
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
- Working level understanding of technology infrastructure of banking systems is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data-driven and data science initiatives that resulted in significant business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to clearly communicate and story tell to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. Comfortable in navigating ambiguity in a complex environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and departments.
- Strong experience in business and analytical analysis e.g., interpret business needs into analytical requirements. Proven ability in problem solving through iteration and hypothesis testing.
- Well versed with data analytics techniques like predictive, prescriptive, ML and AI.
- Passionate with technology and analytics, industry trends and developments.
- Familiarity in statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
