**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up production tools and unload them for tool repair and preventive maintenance.
- Repair and maintain stamping dies to meet daily production output and part quality requirements.
- Prepare tools for changeover.
- Suggest improvements on tools to overcome recurring problems.
- Troubleshoot and adjust tooling on stamping machines.
- Change and set up production equipment.
- Assist Process Engineers in controlling tooling spare inventory and requisition.
- Measure product dimensions according to drawing specifications for the first-piece setup, using tools such as Tool Maker’s Microscope, Micrometer, Profile Projector, and Smartscope.
- Follow and update the existing Documentation System to comply with Lean Manufacturing guidelines.
- Participate in Lean workshop when required.
- Ensure strict compliance with safe work practices and maintain high safety standards.
- Maintain good 5S practices.
- Operate basic tool room equipment such as Surface Grinder, Drilling, and Milling machines.

- Minimum NTC 2 in Tool and Die Making or Diploma in Tool & Die Making.
- At least five years of experience in the High-Speed Stamping industry.
- Proficient in reading Product and Tooling Drawings.
- Able to troubleshoot and debug tooling issues based on die strip and tooling progression.
- Able to operate surface grinding machines and ensure tooling accuracy of spare parts.
- Experienced in maintaining Carbide Punches and Dies and familiar with grinding using Diamond wheels.
- Proficient in operating Stamping Presses and Ancillary Equipment.
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
- Good communication skills.
