**Roles & Responsibilities**

Reporting to the General Manager, the SC Manager will be managing the vendor selection and onboarding process, ensuring that appropriate due diligence and risk assessments are completed.

Your other responsibilities include:

- Proactively engage vendors, negotiate contracts and terms in close co-operation with key stakeholders and contract owners.
- Continuously plan, manage and improve supplier/vendor quality and relationships.
- Undertake vendor management by ensure regular monitoring and evaluation of the performance against agreed service levels
- Manage and lead the sourcing team to support in negotiation and contracts.
- Develop, implement and execute strategies for the Planning functions - Demand, Supply & inventory, to identify potential savings.
- To lead, manage, develop and motivate a strong procurement team with targeted outcomes, process efficiencies, logistic efficiency and cost reduction improvement activities.
- Formulate the Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), forms and templates to maintain best practices, consistency error reduction and enhance productivity in the conduct of procurement activities.

To be successful in this role, you are required to have the following:

- Degree or with minimum 5 years of sourcing and managerial experience.
- Worked in EMS manufacturing environment
- Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of cost saving projects and initiatives.
- You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
