City Hall, Singapore Search Personnel Full time

**Position: Cashier (SIMPLE DUTIES)**:

- **Location: Near City Hall MRT**:

- **Working hours: 5 days, 10am - 7pm (Mon - Sat ,1 off day and 1 rest day per week)**:

- **Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2700 + VB**:

- **Duration: Permanent**:

- **Industry: Photo or video equipment**

**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for operating the POS cash register, handling various types of payment.
- To be accurate in all cash processing and bill transactions, and compliant to all storefront SOPs.
- Responsible for closing duties such as EOD settlements (e.g. cash float, credit card terminals) and will also need to prepare documentation for vouchers and home delivery requests.
- To provide prompt, helpful and courteous services to all customers, including managing any incoming phone calls with appropriate phone etiquette and greetings.
- To assist with retail operations such as stock transfers and receipts, and other back
- end admin assistance required in the retail store.
- Any other duties assigned by manager.

**Requirement**:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience
- Fluent in English to communicate with English-speaking customers
- Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Able to work retail hours and on weekends
- **Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only**
