[What the role is]

As part of the Cyber Security team, the job holder will review and ensure operational compliance for all Government related policies, standards and regulations. He will advise the organisation’s management in cyber security risks so that the organisation can make decisions in fulfilling the organisation’s vision, mission and objectives. He will also establish and put in place strong security mechanisms to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of information in the organisation's IT systems from cyber security threats so that the organisation can continue to operate and function without incident or disruption.

[What you will be working on]
- Lead, develop and plan organizational wide IT security programs to help the organisation to mitigate cyber security risks
- Establish and ensure compliance to government and organisational wide policies, standards and guidelines using effective and efficient frameworks and appropriate guidelines
- Advise senior management on the management of cyber security risks that threaten organizational IT Systems
- Manage, identify, control, mitigate and report cyber security incidents so that the impact to the business of the organization is minimized
- Manage and mentor staff from experience gained in the security arena so that they can discharge their duties effectively in their respective areas of security work
- Lead in scanning and surveying security threats such that timely preventative control measures can be adopted to mitigate security risks to the organisation

[What we are looking for]
- 5 to 8 years of relevant knowledge and experience in IT security related role(s) (e.g. CISSP, CSSLP, CSSP, CISM)
- Strong interest in researching cyber security trends and threats
- Good communication (writing and speaking), collaboration and engagement skills
- Strong team player, good networking skills
