Senior Staff Product Development Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
MaxLinear Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Development Engineer who will be based in our R&D Office in Singapore and will work closely with Engineering teams in Singapore as well as MaxLinear R&D/Operations teams across the globe. In this role, you will focus on:

- Ensuring the testability and manufacturability of highly innovative integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp and high-volume manufacturing
- Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
- Post-silicon validation, analysis and evaluation of new and redesigns, product characterization and support of product qualification
- Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with specific emphasis on yield
- Yield stabilization and optimization during ramp-up and high-volume manufacturing.
- Electrical analysis of customer returns and production problems
- Implementation of cost reduction and improvement projects with respect to yield, test cost and delivery quality
- Product responsibility after completion of the development during the high-volume manufacturing phase until end of life
- Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
- Technical interface for the production sites
- Autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment

Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering with about 10 to 15 years of experience in the field of IC development and/or production
- Solid knowledge in the various fields of IC development (design, verification, layout) and IC production (technology, wafer processing, assembly), test, quality, reliability, yield & logistics
- Experience in statistical data analysis and data mining
- Strong analytical skills and proven competency in problem solving
- Strong Communications skills and the ability to effectively work with cross functional teams
