Relationship Manager

As a Relationship Manager specializing in Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients, you will play a pivotal role in our external asset management firm. Your key responsibilities will be bringing your own book of accounts as well as acquiring new clients and managing the client portfolios based on their respective investment objectives. This role is expected to be like a business partner where there will be profit sharing and other incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential UHNW clients who align with our firm's client profile.
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to acquire new UHNW clients, expanding our client base.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients through networking, referrals, and outreach efforts.
2. Existing Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and strengthen relationships with your existing UHNW clients, ensuring their financial objectives are met.
- Understand each client's unique financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for existing clients, addressing their financial inquiries and needs.
3. Investment Advisory:
- Provide customized investment advice and strategies tailored to meet each client's wealth preservation and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with our investment team to design and manage investment portfolios aligned with client goals.
4. Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the daily management of client portfolios, with a focus on optimizing asset allocation and managing risk.
- Continuously monitor investment performance and make proactive adjustments to enhance returns.
5. Wealth Planning:
- Work closely with clients to develop comprehensive wealth planning strategies, including estate planning, tax optimization, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with legal, tax and other partners to implement wealth transfer strategies.
6. Client Education and Communication:
- Educate clients on investment options, market trends, and financial planning concepts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations or reports to keep clients informed and engaged.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record in relationship management within the financial industry, with a focus on UHNW clients.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to client confidentiality.
