**Job Scope**:

- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' eyes to identify signs of injury, disease, abnormalities, and vision defects.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, including slit-lamp bio-microscopy, fundus camera, optical coherence tomography, non-contact tonometer, Humphrey visual field analyzer, and others.
- Communicate eye examination results to patients, providing advice and reassurance on vision-related concerns.
- Recommend suitable optical aids based on examination findings and patient needs.
- Troubleshoot and adjust the fitting of spectacles and ophthalmic lenses. Maintain comprehensive records of patients' eye health and historical purchase data.

**Job Requirements**:

- Eligibility for provisional, conditional, or full registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) is a requirement.
- Previous retail experience would be considered advantageous.
