The key objective of this role is to value-add to the business by:
- Reporting and maintaining up-to-date portfolio information with initiative to improve existing and if necessary, create robust reporting systems to cater to business needs
- Managing and coordinating stakeholders through investment transactions and reporting, with the ability to establish the right context for different audience
- Performing portfolio analysis and scenario planning to support opportunities to grow the real estate mandate via direct and indirect opportunities
Key Responsibilities for this role:
Portfolio Reporting
- Maintain portfolio database and deliver monthly / quarterly finance reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage, coordinate and deliver quarterly investment reports to clients
- Coordinate and distil key messages for direct real estate investment portfolio reporting
- Monitor and identify risk metrics against investment mandate and strategy
Transaction Management
- Lead to process transactions once relevant approvals are obtained - communicate clear timeline and deliverables to business units
- Track key investment parameters against investment committee approval
- Process investee fund level corporate actions
Client Relationship Management
- Support the Fund Manager/ Portfolio Manager to maintain and grow critical relationships with existing and potential investors through supporting information needs and portfolio analytics
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Masters / Bachelor’s Degree / in relevant area of study including Finance, Real Estate Management
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Prior real estate acquisitions or fund and portfolio management role is preferred
- Demonstratable ability to lead and project manage
- A self-motivated team player who is meticulous, resourceful, and flexible, detailed oriented, organized and able to learn quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact well with different functions and levels
- Lateral thinker, inquisitive, openness to new ideas
- The ability to multi-task and work in fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Superior analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills
- A candid, open-minded and straightforward communication style in dealings with others
- A team player with ability to interact and contribute to a small team and willing to coach and develop the junior members of the team
