**Job Purpose**:
Setting up and managing the value added services (VAS), including the labeling, repacking and postponement capabilities. Lead all the projects related to VAS

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Strategic projects
- Understand the affiliate customer requirements related to the value added services and developing plans for building capabilities to deliver on the aligned value added services
- Prepare the cost estimates and business cases, for the initiatives
- Understand impact of the projects on different functions and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders

2. Record manager
- As a record manager for all record and information management related matters of operation records

3. Delivery of Value added services
- Ongoing delivery of value added services to the affiliate customers
- Setting up of labeling facility in coordination with 3PL service providers
- Labeling process design and implementation
- Label printing solutions conceptualization and deployment
- Facility & process validation and qualification
- Manage the team for scheduling the labeling / VAS operations to meet the committed lead times
- Change Control management
- Resource planning and training
- Coordination with 3PL service provider

4. Process Improvements
- Identify and lead the implementation of the performance improvement initiatives involving the process and automation
- Coordinate the lean initiatives at RDC to ensure continuous improvement of VAS operations
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-geography teams to identify the improvement opportunities
- Owner of Non Conformance and CAPA systems in VAS operations

5. Engineering & Automation
- Lead / coordinate with the cross-functional team for designing and implementing the right packing solutions
- Lead / coordinate with the cross-functional team for designing and implementing the appropriate level of automation
- Authorities:

- Approver for Overtime for 3PL-VAS
- Back-up Approver for surveys in case of damages in the inbound shipments
- Back-up approver for customer compliant closure

**Qualifications**
- Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering / Science; MBA preferred
- Supply chain related educational qualifications / certification preferred
- 10 - 12 years’ experience in supply chain and project management, with good understanding of labeling, packaging operations and exposure to DC operations
- Technical Skills:

- CPIM (APICS) or similar certifications - Excellent understanding of supply chain concepts and cross-functional linkages
- Excellent analytical ability
- Customer (internal and external) driven approach.
- Experience in Manufacturing / Labeling / Packing, especially in Medical / Pharmaceutical / Cosmetics industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- PMP / FPX / Other Project Management certifications
- LEAN / Six sigma
- Effective communication skills
- Experience / exposure to automation & engineering
- Vendor management
- Mastering complexity: Managing complexity/technical accountability.
- Scheduling and prioritization
- Accountability & ownership
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Result orientation
