About Industry Development Division
In developing the sport industry, we partner key stakeholders in achieving sporting and economic outcomes through market and capability development. This division involves networking and staying relevant with the latest trends in innovation and technology within the sport ecosystem. Being able to strategise and facilitate synergies amongst stakeholders is important to keep the local and regional sport industry inviting and vibrant. Our work also includes supporting enterprises and individuals in the sport industry to remain resilient despite the COVID-19 pandemic and to enable their businesses to thrive.

**What you will be working on**

You will be part of the Industry Development division to support businesses and individuals in our sport industry in improving their offerings through leveraging technology and innovation, developing skills and capabilities and enhancing productivity and standards, as well as drive enterprise development and investment into the sporting ecosystem.
In this role, you will;
- Develop and manage the overall industry development strategy and plan including landscape studies, industry surveys and database build.
- Establish strategic relationships with international sport entities and key local/international business partners to drive investment into Singapore and its sporting ecosystem.
- Enable sport business development through cross-sector and international collaborations on sport innovation.
- Leverage on internal/external platforms and enable opportunities to showcase innovative local talent/enterprises.
- Establish quality working relationships with partners to increase cross-sector and cross-border collaborations in support of innovative solutioning. For example, actively source, facilitate and manage strategic partnerships; establish a sport industry alliance/network as a key driver for developing the sporting eco system.
- Support the development of a robust capability development strategy for the sport industry.
- Curate conversations and work with relevant bodies such as education institutions and capability development agencies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage on SportSG’s assets and platforms for industry development.
- Support Whole-of-Government initiatives including enforcement, assessment and engagement with specific target groups within the industry.
- Support or partner sport businesses and individuals in pivoting to new business models and investing in capability development.
- Provide both financial (e.g. grants) and non-financial (e.g. creation of partnerships and networks) support to the sport industry.

**What we are looking for**

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. This individual should also be inquisitive and confident in making new connections and creating new opportunities.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in industry development, sports business/management, strategy development or related role.
- Strategic thinker with analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong networking aptitude and stakeholder management skills.
- Resource and project management skills.
- Willingness to keep abreast of forefront innovation and trends within and across industries.
- Responsible and self-driven.
- Enjoys and believes in the power of sport to transform lives.
