The Finance Director, RAPAC for Leica Biosystems is the Strategic Business Partner to VP Selling Unit to lead the regional Finance & Indirect Sourcing teams to drive and support the business through an exciting period of growth. They will set up the right organization structure, streamline end to end process to achieve efficiency and effectiveness, drive synergy and harmonization. They will build a strong, engaged team with strong succession planning across the organization.

This position contributes to LBS’s overall mission by leading and supporting seamless financial and operational management systems, procedures, and processes. You will have solid finance management skills, aptitude for process and continuous improvement, be fully conversant in finance & accounting and a possess working knowledge of operations, service business, indirect sourcing, and best practices across APAC.

This position is part of the RAPAC team located in Singapore, Seoul, or Tokyo and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Co-pilot with the RAPAC VP of Sales to develop, drive and enable commercial growth and strategic business development opportunities throughout the region
- Develop and maintain forecasting processes that accurately predict future performance and motivate actions to ensure the business achieves its targets
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across all countries within the region. Providing insights regarding key CVD’s and initiate countermeasures if the businesses deviate from their targets
- Develop, implement, and maintain an accurate reporting and control process across all regional selling units including investment models to support decision making
- Improve financial processes and procedures by leveraging the Danaher Business System and best demonstrated practices
- Develop diverse talent, future leaders, and successors within the Finance organisation by inspiring and motivating all associates to perform at their highest levels
- Work with the Senior Manager, Global Indirect Spend, develop, and implement short
- and long-term strategies designed to reduce costs and improve quality and service and meet corporate goals and objectives.
- May lead functional teams or projects

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) and/or; Bachelor’s degree required (major/concentration in Finance/Accounting/Business or related field preferred, but not required.
- Post Qualified 10-15 years’ experience of working within a commercial business with an international remit
- Operating in commercial and technical aspects of finance, drive and sustain change and skilled at operating within a fast-paced, high growth organization.
- International experience working within a matrix environment
- Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and working in an integrated ERP system such as SAP.
- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- Very good written and spoken English

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Manufacturing & operations, financial consolidation, and knowledge of standard costing
- Experience with OneStream software and Robotic Process Automation
