Mechatronics Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Be part of a multi-disciplinary team to design and develop low Size Weight and Power (SWaP) sensing systems and their deployment techniques
- Work with the mechanical and electrical/electronic engineers in the design, analysis and tests of mechanical parts, assemblies and electronic circuits
- Produce and maintain related design documents (e.g. reports, part drawings and schematics diagrams)
- Liaise and oversee external vendors for the PCB fabrication, assembly and mechanical parts fabrication
- Participate in the testing and validation processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed systems in harsh operating environment
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Robotics Engineering
- Knowledge in Mechanical CAD software (e.g. Solid Edge, SolidWorks) and C/C++ programming
- Good understanding of embedded systems developments on micro-controllers, serial bus interfaces, actuators and control
- Able to read and understand electronics datasheets and schematic diagrams
- Possess effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project objectives
- Passionate or strong interest in developing electro-mechanical and/or robotics systems on embedded platforms
