Business Analyst

The role as a Business Analyst will be responsible for various company-wide digitalization, innovation, and improvement projects which may include optimizationing of business processes and implementationing of new tools and ways of working in line with the digital roadmap of the company.

Functionally, the Business Analyst is part of the core team in the global Project Management and Portfolio team (ProMPT), coordinated by the Innovation Director in Corporate, and will be expected to participate and coordinate with this team on a regular basis. The Business Analyst is responsible for the respective region’s AI participation and implementation, delivery, and day-to-day operational activities for strategic projects in the region. The job holder will need to ensure that all project deliverables, budgetary structures, timelines, and reporting requirements are adhered to in accordance with expectations.

**Improvement and Innovation**
- Identify pain points and inefficiencies in processes and systems, and systems and propose solutions to gain efficiencies in the organization.
- Support staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the company’s business processes and digital tools that can develop, automate, and support the business to reach its digital business ambition
- Participate in the core team in the global Project Management and Portfolio Team (ProMPT), to collect new ideas and improvement suggestions, evaluate and prioritize initiatives and implement those that add value to the business.

**Project Management**
- Be the Project Lead in dedicated improvement projects
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and provides clear, timely communication with the stakeholders.
- Ensure improvements are achieved by overseeing the implementation of new technology, adjusted business processes and new ways of working.
- Run workshops and training sessions.

**General**
- Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to improvement suggestions made.
- Analyze findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
- Initiate projects to deliver improvements and changes and take on project manager role when applicable.
- Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.

**Job Requirement
- Bachelor in Business Management or Computer Science or Information Technology
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience with leading business project
- Good understanding of Shipping Industry and business processes
- Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT or PMP would be an advantage
- Good understanding of how information technology and digitalization can be used to resolve problems
- Relevant working experience in the maritime industry would be an advantage
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience with leading business project.
