Accounts Assistant

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are addressed in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients and suppliers as necessary.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation and files for easy access during audits or reviews.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including answering queries and handling financial documentation.
- **Requirements**:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Executive, or in a similar finance-related role is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Malaysian are welcome
