Missionary Service and Member Care Executive

The **Methodist Missions Society** (MMS) is the missions agency of **The Methodist Church in Singapore** (MCS). MMS seeks to establish indigenous churches supported by mission endeavors in communities across our region.
We have a vacancy for **Missionary Service and Member Care Executive.**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Follow through the missionary life cycle and its related processes, from pre-field through to post-field, including insurance, financial disbursement, governance and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with the Methodist Church in Singapore-General Conference (MCS-GC) HR and Finance departments for financial disbursements and insurance matters.
- Track and process the renewal of missionary appointments with partner churches.
- Track and review the missionary quarterly reports and missionary accounts, highlighting needs to the Regional Directors and participate in dialogues with the missionary’s home church.
- Track missionary leave and home assignment and ensure compliance to Missionary Service and Member Care (MSMC) Manual.
- Coordinate the provision of missionary care for all missionaries in the preparation phase, in the field or when they are on home assignment, in consultation with the Regional Director and MSMC.
- Coordinate missionary dialogues and appraisals on a regular basis.
- Assists with the review of MSMC manual with the committee and the Regional Directors as required.
- Coordinate with the Country Directors and Regional Directors on all missionary matters.
- Perform secretariat work for MSMC and administer the MSMC budget.
- Management of Missions Internship Training and Exposure (MITE) programmes.
- Assist in setting up exhibitions in churches and mission events.
- Perform duties as and when assigned by the MMS Home Director.
**Job Requirements**
- Diploma or Degree from an established institution or university with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Good people management skills.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills are required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have good project management and problem-solving skills to analyse issues and recommend solutions.
