Pilates Studio Assistant Manager

1. Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for motivated individuals who are excited to work in a dynamic environment. Experience in administrative, customer service, and hospitality are encouraged. Experience in fitness industry are welcome, but not necessary.

2. Position Details
- 5.5 days work week
- Flexible work timings

3. Responsibilities
- Working with Managers with different aspects of the business: clients, day-to-day operations, instructor management, courses & education management
- Studio / Operations: Assisting the main studio manager and help carry out necessary tasks for the day-to-day operations of the studio, liaising with Pilates instructors and admin staff.

Other tasks:

- Ensure the studio areas are maintained to a high standard during each shift
- Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of communication within the company.
- Overseeing facilities services and maintenance
- Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
- Maintaining good customer service standards
- Handling customer service related issues, complaints and emergencies.
- Handling internal disputes between instructors / staff
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Provide frequent updates to the Organization managers
- Help out with reception duties as necessary, this includes the following:

- Handle reception area - receiving walk in customers, assisting clients with checking in
- Attending to phone call queries
- Handle booking, cancellations and reconfirmation requests from members/visitors
- Collection of payments, outstanding fees
- Liaising with instructors to monitor studio capacity, managing bookings
- All other ad-hoc duties assigned by Operations manager

**Requirements**:

- **Must**:Entrepreneurial **, proactive, self-starter.
- **Able to perform tasks without being given step by step instructions
**- **Able to come up with solutions to problems
- Able to think on their feet, critical thinker
- We are a small company and we don't have perfect systems in place yet. We are looking for individuals who don't mind working in a start-up environment where it is fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial.

- Management experience is a plus but not a must
- Have enthusiasm in the fitness industry is a plus
- Professional, strong interpersonal and communication skill
- Good at time management, able to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
- Good initiative and drive with the ability to work independently
- A Team Player
- Punctual

4. Salary

$2,500 - $3,400 depending on the experience level + CPF (additional)
