The Role

The Product Marketing Manager for Asia-Pacific (APAC) will be responsible for bringing the company’s message and mission to life. You’ll own the development of thought leadership, articulate compelling value propositions, create and deliver engaging content, and act as an internal advocate for customers and prospects in the region. You will shape the strategy to promote Proofpoint and drive market awareness. You will hone the sales plays into a highly repeatable motion. You’ll collaborate across corporate marketing, product management, sales, services, and more - to support and drive the success of a customer’s end-to-end journey. You’ll get to work in a fast-growing business area and make a big impact every day.

This role is open to Singapore OR New South Wales.

Your day-to-day- Be the expert on the buyer in Asia-Pacific - who they are, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Develop narratives to showcase industry/market research and drive buying criteria.- Know the competitive landscape in Asia-Pacific - and their positioning, why they win.- Create compelling content (presentations, webinars, web content, etc.) to reach target buyers through marketing campaigns, sellers, and channel partners. Highlight differentiated value. Bring on the creativity- Create effective sales/channel enablement content to elevate the competency and confidence of sellers in articulating our value and capabilities. Collaborate with sales operations and enablement to measure and deliver outcomes.- Define the customer journey. Collaborate with demand generation and field teams to build programs to increase awareness and adoption.- Build strong working relationships across product, corporate marketing, sales, and senior leaders to achieve business goals.- Bring customer stories to life.- Have fun

What you bring to the team- Adept at identifying use cases that align to customer challenges. Proven ability to develop strong productive relationships with sales, marketing, and more.- Strong personal initiative, good business instincts, and comfort with ambiguity.- Team player with high-energy and a positive can-do attitude.- Proven ability to consistently meet commitments with high-quality deliverables. Showing attention to detail and accountability.- Strong communication skills in writing and public speaking. Comfortable presenting in front of executive, technical, and large audiences.- Curiosity in learning more about cybersecurity technologies, market dynamics, and customer needs.- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market or program management in technology, preferably cybersecurity, enterprise software, or SaaS
