As a member of the Materials Planning Team, you are responsible to analyze & manage materials planning, optimizing & managing inventory levels to fulfill customer requirements and production needs within the organization. Management of purchases with Headquarters to ensure timely delivery to customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily administration of intercompany purchases to ensure the ability to deliver within an optimized inventory level throughout the whole product life cycle
- Monitor delivery status and availability, take measures for improvement and define suitable a procurement method (make to order / make to stock)
- Follow-up on purchases and large orders, expedite delivery when necessary
- Control of stock level and delivery reliability according to defined targets, in case of deviation initiate and implement countermeasures
- Plan stock levels and purchases according to the forecasted sales demands with SNP (Supply Network Planning)
- Manage and coordinate improvement projects or roll out projects for new processes cross-departmental
- Liaison with regional countries on goods returns
- Manage the phase-out process of materials
- Co-ordinate and communicate internally for product availability, order fulfillment and supply status
- Manage all materials in plant with correct MRP settings and materials status
- Any other duties assigned

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Logistics or Materials Management or equivalent
- Minimum 2 -3 years of related experience in logistics/materials management/ customer handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
- SAP knowledge is an added advantage
- Able to work independently
- Good understanding of materials planning and correlations with Supply Chain
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and resourceful
- Excellent communication skills
- A good team player
