**About the Team**:

- At Shopee Search & Recommendation, we connect users to what they may want at scale. As a pillar of the e-commerce discovery experience, every day, our products enable tens of millions of users to discover relevant and interesting things among hundreds of millions of products and content available on Shopee. We’re a passionate, young, and diverse team coming from 10+ countries, committed to creating a convenient, delightful, and intelligent discovery experience for our users.- Work closely with the product team to make significant impacts on Shopee's search & recommendation engine through both technical and operational processes
- Perform testing and QC to evaluate the quality of search & recommendation features
- Surface issues with search & recommendation by reviewing bad cases and collecting product feedback
- Provide insights into local market’s contexts and trends
- Assist with execution of the product operation team’s projects

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field is preferred
- Speaking English and Vietnamese as this role will be working on tasks related to the Vietnam market in Vietnamese
- Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills
- Strong execution skills and attention to detail
- Data-driven, strong ability in analysing data to derive insights and make decisions
- Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable to work with change in a dynamic environment
- Strong commitment, bias towards actions, get things done reliably

- Full-time intern who can commit to a period of six months is preferred
