**Get to know the Team**
The Growth Planning team provides leadership, strategic direction, and vision for the broader organisation focusing on achieving key business priorities while ensuring effective & efficient growth efforts. The team functions as Grab’s planning and strategic arm overseeing long-term focus areas, current prioritizations and appropriateness of efforts across functions (Business, Marketing Operations, Analytics, Product, etc.).
**Get to know the Role**
- The role is a balance of advanced analytics and stakeholder management and is a key member of the senior Growth team that has a high impact on the growth and development of the business
- You will unlock new growth opportunities by thinking strategically and long-term about the complex business needs of both consumers and other customers we serve
- Co-design the vision and set targets for business growth with the leadership team, and lead strategic initiatives for sustainable growth of the business
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing P&L and track record of exceeding aggressive growth targets
- Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable communicating business ideas and strategy to C-level management
- Responsible for growing and developing a multi-functional team including Growth Resourcing, Growth Marketing and Growth Planning Responsible for the identification and surfacing of the overall growth issues within the platform, driving country specific implementations and lead group level syndication and alignment
- Manage marketing budget, monitor spending, constantly analyse the cost efficiency and drive improvements
- You will operate effectively across functions and teams to identify and execute on new opportunities in anticipation of future business needs
- Proven experience in building and growing mid-large size multi-functional team
**The Day-to-Day Activities**
- Develop and execute Growth Marketing strategies including the setting, measurement and achievement of aggressive goals / KPIs aligned with the overall business objectives for the market
- Analyse issues impacting revenue and demand growth. This includes customer profitability assessment and segmentation, conversion funnel optimization, churn analysis, market scans and experimentation
- Identify, layout and troubleshoot the overall Growth issues related to the Grab platform
- Scope advanced statistical analyses, predictive modelling, and growth product roadmaps in collaboration with the relevant teams to drive demand growth
- Build presentations to influence senior stakeholders and enable data driven decision making
- Drive pre-launch coordination for country specific solutions
- Forecast revenue and spend on initiatives for weekly, monthly and quarterly planning cycles
- Manage budget allocation and track cost from initiatives in collaboration with Finance
- Drive Group level syndication, alignment and education
**The Must-Haves**
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy & planning workstreams
- 3+ years of leadership experience, including management of teams in start-up environments with the ability to operate between strategy and execution when needed.
- Solid work experience in Growth/ Marketing in a digital platform with proven track record
- Confident in generating growth insights by inferring from a series of complex data sets as well as by utilising an effective understanding of the relevant business verticals
- Ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable insights
- Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to translate complex analyses to actionable business insights to a wide range of audiences
- Ability to see big picture while not losing sight of details
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and flexible work style.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively with an innovative mindset that is constantly looking for ways to improve things
- Proven track record of senior stakeholder management
- A start-up attitude - willing to work hard to get things done
**The Nice-to-Haves**
- Worked with or in consumer technology firms
- Knowledge of data visualization & dashboard building using Tableau or PowerBI
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language
