Network design, build, implementation, troubleshooting and administration skills across a variety of vendor products and technologies
- Particular focus around the following vendor products:

- Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper Switches and Routers
- Firewalls: Fortigate, Palo Alto, WAF, F5 Load Balancers
- Software products to manage the environments
- Ability to learn new technologies with mínimal training and adapt to new technologies
- Solid background in network design and administration.
- A passion for Enterprise Technology.
- Systematic troubleshooting skills across a range of technologies.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring techniques.
- Broad range of experience across IT technologies.
- University or Bachelor's degree

- Relevant Network certifications
- Vmware NSX skills
- ITIL certifications
- Master’s degree

**Responsibilities**
- Determining business needs and evaluating existing network infrastructure and platforms.
- Optimizing network hardware and software to enable systems integration
- Developing and deploying customized network solutions.
- Designing and implementing network environments and enabling life cycle management.
- Installing Network updates, as well as security patches and bug fixes across the network fleet
- Troubleshooting and resolving network environment issues.
- Providing technical support and documenting network processes.
- Keeping informed of developments Network technologies and products.
- Work within the ITIL framework for Incident, change and problem management.
- Take ownership of technical escalations and customer requests and work towards resolving them within the SLAs defined in the SOW.
- Participate in the auctioning and closure of outstanding work displayed in the Service Management toolset
- Provide input into the customer’s strategy and planning.
- Provide analysis and make technical recommendations in the monthly report.
- Provide support assistance on non-specialisation technologies.
- Participate in the on-call roster.
