Database Customer Engineer, Google Cloud

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in the enterprise software or cloud space.
- Experience with one or more database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and graph databases.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience in customer-facing pre-business or professional consulting in data and information lifecycle management field with translating customer business needs into cloud-centric solutions.
- Experience with data management architectures including storage subsystems, high availability, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, security, monitoring and database management.
- Experience with data migration strategies and moving production systems in on-premise or data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia or Thai fluently to support client relationship management.

**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and qualify business opportunities, identify customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Support the technical relationship with Google’s customers including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Share best practices on promoting databases among accounts/account teams.
