- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales or professional consulting in data and information life cycle management, translating customer business needs into cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with data management architectures, including performant and scalable architectures, security, monitoring, and database management, particularly from an Oracle perspective.
- Experience with Oracle data migration strategies and in moving large-scale production systems either in on-premise / data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios.

Google Cloud has a strategic partnership with Oracle to make available Oracle flagship database technologies on Google Cloud.As a Database Practice Specialist focused on Oracle, you will engage with customers to identify appropriate Oracle workloads for migration to Google Cloud and design the overall deployment architecture. You will also work with partners and Oracle teams to develop migration plans to enable customers to move their Oracle workloads to Google Cloud.

**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and qualify Oracle business opportunities, lead discovery workshops for Oracle workloads, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings on Oracle and database modernization, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Provide customer's feedback on product improvement to product management and engineering.
