**Reporting of the role**:
This role reports to: APAC Chief Growth Officer
**What You’ll Do as Strategy Partner**:
- You are the steward of the strategic process of major brands. / An ambassador for strategic excellence within your client team(s)/.. _
- Lead the day to day strategy & communication planning for leading CPG & Financial Services accounts, working directly with senior clients
- Partner closely with the APAC client leads, as well as the APAC Chief Client Officer, to ensure delivery of regional strategies and to support key markets, particularly during annual plans
- Be an ambassador for Fearless Growth in the development of award-winning work for existing and new business
- Lead Wavemaker’s Provocative Planning and develop a plan for improving strategic capability amongst the strategy team and agency, especially supporting heads of strategy in APAC markets
- Distill the core business issues from multiple verticals, and empower strategists to discover the media, communications, and technology solutions that will unlock growth
- Inspire creativity and innovation through engaging workshops, captivating creative briefs, and thought leading POVs on industry trends
- Steward relationships with other agency partners, including creative, digital, shopper and PR

- Understands how their strategy impacts other teams and agencies, and can be diplomatic to get the job sold
- Prioritizes data led approaches to analyzing and solving problems
**What Background we have in mind for this position**:
- Strong experience (12+ years) with international or local agencies or companies with specific degree of knowledge in the field of marketing communication strategy
- Experience working in strategy, ideally leading a market strategy team in an APAC market
- Deep experience of marketing and consumer marketing activities, including the laws of growth
- Deep knowledge of business, marketing and communication metrics
- Able to understand what marketing objectives means and how it can be deployed and translated into communication and media activities
- The capability to capture insights from observations or trends in society and marketing translating them into strategies
- Be used to working with 3rd agencies such as research, creative or digital agencies
- Be a trusted advisor to senior clients
