Manager / Senior Manager, Education (1-year Contract), Iie

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- This position is for Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE).
- Programme Development and Management- Design and drive strategic review of curriculum for Protg Ventures programme and other innovation & entrepreneurship education programmes
- Manage programme timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure effective operations in compliance with university policies.
- Lead team on the strategic development and execution of Protg Ventures programme
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Building- Identify and organise collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to student leaders, faculty, investors, sponsors, corporate partners.
- Identify strategic opportunities for IIE and SMU and build relationships with key stakeholders and networks that support the acceleration of student innovation and cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset.
- Programme Impact and Evaluation- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the programme(s) and its impact on the startup ecosystem.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
- Oversee programme(s) reporting to stakeholders.
- Student Club Management- Oversee and guide student club advisors and student leaders in the areas of club governance, workplans and finance to establish credible student-led clubs in SMU
- Provide institutional support and cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset among student leaders and clubs through experiential activities & events
- Financial Oversight and Fundraising- Oversee the budget and financial management of the programme.
- Ensure optimal utilisation of programme-specific funds
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, donations and sponsorships.
- Marketing and Brand Strategy Development- Drive the development of marketing strategies to elevate respective programme's profile and awareness within SMU, locally and regionally.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree / Post Graduate Degree in any discipline.
- Extremely strong interest in industry trends in the innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system.
- Humble, authentic, values hard work, has high standards and is outcome-driven.
- A keen sense of ownership and accountability, acts with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- More than 5 years of working experience.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of budget, grant administration and financial management principles.
- Comfortable with mínimal amount of direction, thrives in high pressure and high expectation situations.
- Detail-oriented and team-oriented with a strong desire to be successful.
- Deep knowledge and network in the local Venture Capital space & SE Asia innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem will be viewed favourably.
- Experience in designing and delivering quality experiential learning educational programmes is a plus.
- Relevant experience as an educator or mentor to the youth is a plus.
