Central Kitchen Food Production Cook

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Central Kitchen Food Production Cook to be part of the Central Kitchen food production operations team. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience in hot kitchen food production and is able to handle day-to-day activities.
- Prepare ingredients such as cut, fry, blend, and pack.
- Knowledge of using all cooking utensils and types of equipment.
- Follow company SOP to cook soup, all types of dishes, and make sandwiches filing.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- Handle ordering of all ingredients for production usage.
- Maintain inventory and records, check the freshness of food and ingredients and practice FIFO to minimize wastage.
- Ensure kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned.
- Compliance with food safety, the highest quality of food, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items.
- Handle ingredient preparation, packaging, and distribution of foods section.
- Follows the daily food production schedule to assure the correct quantities of food are prepared and sent to the outlet.
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely manner.
Requirement
- Culinary school diploma or Nitec/Professional certificate
- At least 1 years experience in Food Production or Food Processing environment.
- Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Attentive to detail and accuracy in completing everyday tasks.
- Rotating shift early morning and mid-night shift. 6 work days.
