**Responsibilities**:

The Contractor should be able to meet and cater to the school needs in the provision of Gardener in the following areas:
1) Job Description:
(a) Basic gardening duties comprising of:

- Ensure cleanliness of school landscape at all times

(b) Basic gardening tools, fertilizer and pesticide to be provided by Contractor and must be secured in a lockable storage.

(c) Maintenance of all outdoor learning spaces of the school which includes:

- Eco-garden, Fernery, Nurseries, Eco-pond, Herbs, spice and edible plants station, Desert station, Compost station, fruit trees, and upcoming Butterfly Garden.
- Citronella (lemongrass) trail along classroom blocks driveway
- Hydroponic garden (level 4 roof garden)

(d) Assist in preparing, operating and cleaning of vertical farming, aquaponics, solar-powered hydroponics systems, and butterfly garden during periodic class farming activities with pupils and Teachers. (Any maintenance issues of systems should be raised to HOD SCI/SH SCI for vendors of systems to address)

(e) Any other duties assigned by the school’s management or the Operation Manager (OM) / HOD(Science)

2) Working Hours

The working days are: Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.

The working hours is from 0800 to 1700 inclusive of half an hour of lunch break.

Job Qualifications:

The proposed Gardener must possess the following:

- Basic oral English language skills
- Must be able to work in the open area (exposed to Sun)

Good team player with initiative and responsibility in carrying out gardening duties with teachers

Contract length: 12 months

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $1,091.00 - $2,318.00 per month

- Lower Secondary Qualification (preferred)
