[What your role is]

You will be part of a team that takes care of lush and vibrant parks to serve the recreational and lifestyle pursuits of our community.

[What you will be working on]

Under our City in Nature vision, you will be responsible for the curation of selected parks and park connectors in the north western part of Singapore to provide a safe and pleasant experience for park visitors, and to bring park visitors closer to nature. Your work will also require keen interest and knowledge in nature and greenery to carry out landscape and infrastructure development/maintenance works.

You will implement a range of community engagement activities, focusing on tree-planting events and various habitat enhancement projects. You will also explore technological integration by introducing IoT devices for park monitoring and maintenance, conducting trials of new automated systems for park management, and explore new automated solutions to enhance park operations. Your role will also involve assisting in administrative works associated with parks operations, feedback management, and streamlining of work processes, with a focus on leveraging these new technologies to improve efficiency and community engagement.

[What we are looking for]
- Areas of study in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Environmental Science or related discipline preferably with Facility Management experience
- Enjoy working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people
- Keen interest in nature, plants, greenery and environmental horticulture
- Able to work independently and multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including operations, community engagement, programming and enforcement (e.g. Parks and Trees Regulations, etc) when required
- Possess good interpersonal and writing skills
- Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
