As a Settlement Officer, you’ll be responsible for ensure that trades are processed efficiently and accurately, and that all settlement related activities are completed on time.

**Junior Settlement Officer**

We're looking for results-driven and passionate people to join our proven team as a **Junior Settlement Officer **based in Singapore.

**Your Job Purpose**

‍
- Your main responsibility will be to coordinate the settlement process, ensuring that documents are prepared efficiently, and trades are settled smoothly. You’ll work closely with counterparties, custodians, investors, and issuers to quickly and effectively resolve and trade mismatches, failures or issues that may arise.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily process of trades and ensure on-time settlement of all trades, including equities, fixed income, and other financial products.
- Handle post-trade settlement functions, including processing trade instructions, relaying trade status to clients, and troubleshooting trade queries and issues.
- Undertake process and system enhancements to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain a strong understanding of custody operations workflows, settlement procedures and systems.
- Ensure full compliance with policies and regulations and complete adherence to service level agreements with internal and external clients.
- Perform other settlement duties as assigned.

**You’ll be a great fit for us if you**:

- No previous work experience is required, although prior internships or coursework related to securities/banking is a plus.
- A strong interest in the Singapore securities market and regulatory framework.
- A desire to develop working knowledge of private equities, private credit, digital tokens and fund management.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to process and system enhancements to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a great team player.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and adaptability skills, along with critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paces environment, are essential for this role.
