Chief Legal Technology Officer

**What the role is**
- You will lead the Legal Technology Transformation Office (LTTO) in driving and supporting technology transformation in the Singapore legal services sector. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to chart the strategic direction for technology adoption and development in the legal services sector. You will lead the team to develop plans and strategies, and implement initiatives to enable useful adoption of technology and build the legal technology ecosystem.
**What you will be working on**
- Develop the technology roadmap for the Singapore legal services sector. - Oversee the development of strategies and plans of the LTTO, and the implementation of initiatives. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualise and implement legal technology initiatives and polices, and to build the legal technology ecosystem and capabilities. - Engage and partner external stakeholders, e.g. Singapore Academy of Law, Law Society of Singapore, to align with strategic directions and drive technology adoption across the legal industry. - Lead the development and compliance to policies and standards to ensure proper governance, financial and performance management.
**What we are looking for**
- Deep understanding of Singapore’s legal sector (including existing policies, key stakeholders, current regulations); and legal technology developments and innovations - Strong analytical and writing skills: Guiding staff in producing clear, concise written work reflecting strong thinking and analysis - Strong project management skills: Managing multiple concurrent projects and initiatives under tight timelines - Strong people management and supervisory skills: Ability to develop, motivate and mentor staff, help them develop skills and capabilities through on-the-job training and appropriate training courses - Strong communication and relationship management skills: Communicating and working effectively with other Divisions / Statutory Boards within Ministry of Law and with external stakeholders
