As a Station Captain, you will oversee a specific station or section within the restaurant, such as the dining area, bar, or kitchen. Your primary responsibility is to coordinate and manage the activities within your assigned station, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Station Management: Supervise and lead a team of servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, or kitchen staff assigned to your station. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that all team members are performing their duties effectively.

Customer Service: Create a welcoming and friendly environment for guests. Interact with customers, address their inquiries and concerns, and ensure their dining experience exceeds their expectations. Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Operational Efficiency: Maintain a smooth flow of operations within your station. Coordinate with other Station Captains and restaurant management to optimize overall efficiency, such as managing table turnovers, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in your station.

Training and Development: Train new staff members on station-specific responsibilities, service standards, and company policies. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance and ensure consistency in service delivery.

Quality Control: Monitor the quality of food, beverages, and service within your station. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and proper presentation of dishes and drinks.

Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and coordinating with the kitchen or bar for replenishment. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory needs.

Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen staff, bar team, and other Station Captains to maintain effective communication and teamwork. Coordinate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.

Shift Management: Oversee the opening or closing procedures of your station, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to established guidelines. Coordinate shift changes and breaks to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
