**JOB PURPOSE** As **Supply Chain Consultant **, you will be a key member of the HELP Logistics team and report to the Regional Director. As part of the team you create a bridge between humanitarian, commercial and academic organisations and transfer innovative supply chain knowledge and complex solutions to HELP’s humanitarian partners. Your primary focus will be on contributing to the strengthening of organisational end-to-end supply chains and building capacity in individuals and organisations. This strengthening is obtained through the provision of expert consulting services, bespoke technical trainings, and certificate and higher education programs. Your sectoral expertise and adjoining insights will enhance the thought-leadership position of the organisation in keeping abreast of new trends, opportunities and challenges, while your extensive working and living experience in Asia allows you to add relevant context to HELP Logistics projects. To constantly strengthen the footprint and impact of HELP Logistics in the region, you support the Regional Director by maintaining the existing partnerships, expanding the network of humanitarian partners and generating new partnership opportunities. To keep HELP’s regional office operational, you might also be asked to support the team on organisational and administrative matters from time to time. You will be expected to travel up to 60% of the time to support projects in the region.**SCOPE OF FUNCTION** **Expert consulting** - Liaise with humanitarian partners to understand their needs and identify areas for improvement - Develop customised solutions and support the implementation process while coordinating with the project team and organising workshops with various stakeholders. - Develop new consulting tools and techniques. - Transfer the relevant knowledge to humanitarian partners and across HELP Logistics team **Capacity strengthening** - Plan, organise and conduct trainings for humanitarian and government partners, adapting where needed to context and audience. - Develop new teaching material and case studies while updating existing material to the latest standards and insights. - Perform as mentor or in coaching activities where required. **Networking, advocacy and thought leadership** - Advocate for the value of logistics and supply chain management in workshops, conferences and publications. - Keep informed on current and upcoming trends and translate these to the concrete impact statements related to the partnership base. - Draft or contribute to relevant publication in operational or academic venues.**JOB REQUIREMENTS** **Qualifications and Experiences required**: - First-level university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences or Economics from a recognised university. A master’s degree will be a distinct advantage. - **> 5 years **of **commercial / private sector / humanitarian sector experience **in shared services, supply chain and e-commerce operations, business continuity projects or other related technical areas is required. Management consulting experience is a bonus. - Familiar with political, cultural and economic situation in the region. - Possess proven experience in technical areas of supply chain management; especially procurement, transport/distribution, warehousing and stock management. - Possess strong planning, management, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities. - Have a proven ability to gather data, analyse and diagnose supply chain and operational issues. - Be able to synthesise and analyse information, and formulate and present clear recommendations **Functional Competencies required**: - Ability to synthesise and analyse information, and formulate and present clear recommendations. - Strong data analytical skills accompanied by the required IT skills (excel, Tableau, and other analytics tools) - Strong planning, project management and project coordination skills. - Excellent written and spoken communication skills with professional proficiency in French and very good skills in English. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region. - Commitment to HELP Logistics (and Kuehne Foundation) values and behaviours such as respect for diversity; integrity; professionalism and accountability. **Distinguishable Competencies**: - Familiar and/or worked with National Disaster Management Agencies (NDMOs) in the region. - Familiar and/or worked with ASEAN and/or AHA Centre. - Familiar and/or practised in pharmaceutical/medical supply chains or logistics.
