**Job title : Senior SEO Specialist** **About us**: Overdose is an NZ head quartered, APAC success story. In Singapore, we are currently working with premier retail clients such as Courts, The Real Pet Food Company, Samsung, SunRice etc... to which you will be exposed. **About the role**: As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for the research required to derive strategic insights for our clients as well as tracking and measuring results. You will work on putting together comprehensive SEO audits and strategies, defining tactics used to achieve client goals, and presenting your findings directly to clients. **Responsibilities**: This role includes, but not limited to: - Developing a long-term SEO strategy with a strong focus on mobile web - Coming up with new ideas, leading brainstorms, and staying organized - Taking hands on and creative approaches with content generation - Staying current on new SEO research and emerging trends - Performing site specific keyword research and competitive analysis - Performing technical SEO Audits and driving the implementation of on-page website SEO optimization - Performing backlink analysis, opportunity identification, solicitation and optimization - Performing SEO website migrations - Preparing and communicating regular & ad hoc reporting on SEO performance - Working independently with business stakeholders to identify KPI s, develop dashboards, and interpret metrics to deliver sound, data driven recommendations - Highly proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports presentation **Communication within the Overdose team**: - Regularly communicate and collaborate with the Singapore team and the wider Overdose SEO & Marketing team. - Prepare and communicate effectively in all team WIP and scheduling meetings. These vary and depend on the department but include Design, Development, Client Success and SEO. - Collaborative and strategise with fellow team members to help improve the quality and effectiveness of the department. - Establish strong relationships with fellow Marketing Team members to ensure ideas are shared and assistance can be provided on other clients if and when needed. - Communicate and support all business Directors as and when needed. This may involve contributing to proposals, assisting with client reports and putting forward recommendations for client strategies. **Qualifications & Experience**: - Proven track record of delivering effective SEO strategies - you will be asked to put together a presentation as part of the interview process - Self-motivation - you don’t need a lot of direction, and aren’t afraid to ask questions when you need to understand something better, but will try to figure out the answer on your own first - Excellent communication (written and verbal) - Good time management skills - Comfortable providing recommendations with confidence to senior level stakeholders, even when there is ambiguity involved - Work best with directional support rather than hand holding - Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadline - Ability to think creatively and logically to develop bespoke strategies for your clients in line with their business objectives through analysis of data and industry trends - Keen willingness to learn and grow within the team **What We’re Looking For**: - Data skills (analytics, reporting, Excel / Google Spreadsheets formulas): Important data skills for this role include analyzing data using pivot tables, using queries to find the data you are looking for quickly, and using formulas such as VLookup. - Technical skills (an understanding of how the web and Google works). This means you have a good sense (even if only conceptually) of what happens when someone presses enter in their web browser from a technical perspective. - Motivation, dedication, and curiosity - Someone who loves learning new things, and admits when they don’t go as planned - A demonstrated track record of increasing rankings, traffic, and or revenue while managing and executing search engine optimization strategies and tactics - Working knowledge of web development and ecommerce platforms a plus **Reports to**: Managing Director, Southeast Asia with a dotted line to the Global Chief Search Offic
