**About **:In this role of Level 2 Storage Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient administration and management of storage systems, ensuring their reliability and performance. Your expertise in storage tools and technologies will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our storage environment and providing effective troubleshooting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform storage administration tasks for HP/Hitachi SAN systems (G1000/XP7, P9500/VSP), HP 3PAR, EMC NAS systems (Isilon/Celera), and Brocade SAN Fabric.
- Configure, monitor, and analyze event and alert logs, taking appropriate actions to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills within the storage environment, effectively solving problems as they arise.
- Implement proactive and preventive measures to mitigate storage problems and errors.
- Ensure timely resolution of errors and problems in compliance with SLAs.
- Manage firmware upgrades for storage controllers and disk controllers.
- Monitor and identify failures in STORAGE systems, taking corrective action as needed.
- Monitor and manage disk space on STORAGE systems to prevent capacity issues.
- Create and manage STORAGE user accounts to ensure secure access.
- Complete daily checklists and provide sign-offs.
- Investigate and resolve problem tickets related to storage systems.
- Continuously meet SLA requirements for error and problem resolution.
- Provide 24x7 problem determination and resolution support.
- Perform routine system administration tasks within the storage environment.
- Create and update documentation as required to maintain accurate records.
- Manage user accounts and access privileges for storage systems.
- Collaborate with storage vendors for hardware repairs and support.
- Assist in Disaster Recovery support activities with basic knowledge.

**Key Skills**:

- Proficiency in HP/Hitachi and EMC Storage administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAN and NAS technologies.
- Familiarity with Brocade SAN Fabric.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in a storage environment.
- Proactive mindset to identify and address potential storage issues.
- Effective time management to meet SLAs for error resolution.
- Experience with storage controller and disk controller firmware upgrades.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and event analysis.
- Capability to perform system administration tasks within storage systems.
- Strong documentation skills for creating and updating records.
- Ability to interact with storage vendors for support and repairs.
- Basic knowledge of Disaster Recovery support.
- Shift flexibility, including rotational shifts (7am-4pm, 2pm-11pm, 5pm-2am).
- Availability for on-call support outside normal work hours.
