We are looking for Senior Chef de Partie (Curry) for our fine-dining, modern and contemporary Indian Cuisine Restaurant.

This brand is unlike most traditional Indian restaurants present in Singapore today with various components of modern and contemporary focus in the food preparation techniques and global quality produce to be sourced and used in the construction of its many dishes.

**Job Purpose**:
To handle daily hot Indian kitchen operations and maintain the set standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to prepare traditional north Indian curries and briyanis.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
- Estimate food requirements.
- Garnishing and presentation of food and in new cooking techniques.
- Ensure quality of food and portion control.
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, inventory.
- While on duty keep the cooking area clean to make sure that the health and food safety standard are met.
- Ability to prepare sauces and curry preparation.
- Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Oversee and organizes kitchen stock and ingredients.
- Ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
- Keep cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.

**Requirements**:

- Thorough knowledge of traditional Indian curry and Briyanis.
- Excellent team player.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight reporting timeline.
