**Your day to day**
With amazing food, come unforgettable memories for everyone. As Hostess, you will welcome all hotel guests with smile and assist them to ensure they enjoy a delightful welcome experience, regardless of the time of the day.
**Your day to day**
- Train team members in hostess standards
- Build strong rapport and converse with guests to maintain good relations and return visits
- Meet and greet all guests, potential guests and ensure restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening
- Inquire if they have a reservation ; create one with their preferences if they do not have
- Be attentive to guests requests
- Escort guests to their preferred or reserved table and seat guests according to restaurant standards
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu, including daily specials and ensure tables are cleared quietly and efficiently
- Effective upselling of Food and Beverages
- Handle all transactions accurately and securely
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
**What we need from you**
Ideally, you are upbeat & friendly and have at least a Higher Nitec qualification.
You are able to stand on long hours and able to work on rotating shifts.
