JR32821 Financial Analysis Manager - Finance Strategy

As a Financial Analysis Manager within Finance Strategy Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for activities related to: competitive cost modeling, long range forecast and corporate strategy, and ad hoc financial analysis. You will design and develop complex models that are easily maintained, provide flexibility, and can be continuously improved. Developing and maintaining relationships with cross-organization partners and ability to communicate ideas affectively will be paramount. After ramping in this role, you will be a specialist in competitive cost benchmarking managing the process and relationships with a variety of partners, including executives in Finance and Operations functions. Consequently, this will be a high visibility role.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:
Lead Industry Cost Modeling
- Model competitor technology costs leveraging internal inputs and market intelligence
- Develop new processes and refine existing standards to improve output accuracy
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on methodologies
- Combine and coordinate multiple sources of data from manufacturing, technology development, market intelligence, and other partners
- Distill complex analysis to create concise actionable summaries
- Visualize key concepts from complex and multiple data sources
- Present key finding of analysis to senior management

Support Corporate Strategic Analysis
- Assist with generating long range financial forecasts and scenarios leveraging 3-statement financial modeling
- Deliver financial and strategic analysis on existing and new business opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of: long-term macro and industry specific trends, Micron’s businesses, and its financial systems
- Manage new Finance projects that align with corporate strategies

Lead Ad Hoc Project
- Successfully manage ad hoc projects and analysis from beginning to end
- Be an agent of change
- Communicate analysis and opportunities to key leadership

**Qualifications**:

- Total 7+ years of experience in any of the following: Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economic
- Knowledge of standard cost or cost of good sold forecasting
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capable of working under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
