We are a global natural rubber hub for the Group. We serve as a procurement hub for the Group: managing the Group’s natural rubber supply chains, providing in-house technical expertise, and conducting due diligence in the supply chain by implementing the Group Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy.

**Introduction**

Interested in sustainable business and contributing to advance supply chain sustainability in a commodity that is key in a climate-smart future? The natural rubber sustainability team is looking a Sustainability Associate (Natural Rubber) to support the implementation of its Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy and create positive impact in its supply chain.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Specifically, they will:
1. Engage supplier and follow-up on ESG risk assessments, and sustainability activities and data

2. Manage supplier sustainability database and dashboards, performing data and GIS analysis to support risk assessment and due diligence activities

3. Conduct ad-hoc ESG assessments of suppliers

4. Support sustainability reporting efforts: annual reports, and other sustainability disclosures, by facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholder and managing data request and collection in a structured framework.

5. Support daily sustainability operations, which may include contribution to capacity building development projects, stakeholder and supplier engagement

6. Collaborate as necessary across departments, including at a global level, to synchronize sustainability activities

**Minimum education and professional requirements**
- Bachelors degree in: environmental studies/science, biological science, earth science, physical geography, or any other sustainability related degree
- Relevant work experience: 1-2 years in sustainability or ESG; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Language(s): Strong competency in English (including writing); fluency or competency in regional languages (specifically Bahasa Indonesia) is a strong plus as role will involve engagement with regional suppliers and projects

**Technical skills, competencies and other requirements**
- Ability to perform research and basic data analysis, summarize key themes in data to generate reports
- Background knowledge in sustainability/ESG themes (e.g. sustainable supply chains, biodiversity, deforestation risks in supply chains, social risks, UN sustainable development goals)
- Basic technical knowledge of spatial analysis/mapping in risk mapping and sustainability analysis (familiarity with ArcGIS/QGIS is a plus)
- Independent and a problem solver
- Willing to travel, including to “turbulent” areas (based in Singapore, but occasional missions to primarily SE Asia and potentially Africa). 30 d/y.
