Specific Responsibility:

- Performing lab-scale and pilot-level compounding of new polymer / filler systems.
- Performing injection molding to prepare the test specimen for plastic testing.
- Ensures that lab machinery is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Cleans and prepares machinery for efficient changeovers and subsequent compounding & injection molding process.
- Trouble-shoots processing problems to ensure production of quality products.
- Keep complete and accurate records of process records.
- Assists routine maintenance of machinery & auxiliary equipment.
- Maintains surrounding work area according to established housekeeping standards.
- Complies with established safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

- Support, assist other aspects of Engineering Centre operation as and when necessary.
- Diploma in Science or Engineering, preferably in material science, polymer technology or chemical engineering.
- Fresh graduate or 2 years working experience with polymer processing.

Experience in polymer compounding & injection moding will be an added advantage.
