**Summary**:
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and/or final approval of all raw materials and packaging through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to meet production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Works with other planners to coordinate needs for their production plans thus ensuring materials are available according to set schedules. Provides input to management, reschedules, and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production, and engineering teams to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and/or material shortages, backlogs, and/or other potential schedule interruptions.

**Primary Responsibilities to include**:

- Use product forecast to plan procurement needs of al raw materials and packaging
- Review needs on a daily basis and work with production to prioritize said needs
- Work with plant management, engineering, production, and others to ensure needs are properly analyzed and addressed in a timely manner

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Analyze any/all order discrepancies and document reasoning for said discrepancies
- Work with production in the investigation and corrective action associated with reporting errors
- Work with required parties to deal with material returns
- Participate in the refining of computer system
- Participate/lead audits of our internal system
- Manage/lead plant cycle count activities

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency (Infor - M3, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience preferred)
- Ability to work individually or within a group
- Ability to adapt interpersonally with multiple personality types
- College degree preferred
