As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our client’s business stakeholders and our development team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. Your strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and collaborative attitude will be essential in driving the success of our agile projects.
- **Requirement Elicitation and Analysis**: Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and end-users to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into actionable tasks for the development team.
- **Process Mapping**: Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement. Work with stakeholders to define and document new processes and workflows that align with agile principles and project goals.
- **Backlog Management**: Maintain a well-organized product backlog, prioritizing user stories and features based on business value and dependencies. Regularly update the backlog to reflect changing requirements and priorities.
- **User Story Creation**: Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories that outline the who, what, and why of each feature or functionality. Craft user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that are understandable by both technical and non-technical team members.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Act as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project progress.
- **Acceptance Criteria Definition**: Work with product owners and development team members to define clear and concise acceptance criteria for user stories. Ensure that acceptance criteria are testable and reflect the desired outcomes.
- **Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with the QA team to validate that user stories meet acceptance criteria and ensure that the delivered product aligns with business expectations.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the Scrum framework. Contribute to retrospectives and sprint planning sessions to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Documentation**: Maintain up-to-date documentation of requirements, user stories, and relevant project information. Ensure that all documentation is accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical team members.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an agile/scrum environment.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, particularly Scrum methodology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex business processes and requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirement management tools and agile project management software.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) are a plus
