**Position Overview**

We are looking for a dynamic **Business Analyst**_ _**to grow with a green technology business that's launching on the global stage to make a meaningful difference to our planet's sustainability. The Business Analyst sits within the Product Team and will work together with Product Managers and our customers to ensure that our software platform fully addresses customers’ business requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

Primary activities include understanding client requirements, translating those requirements into product features and system tasks/upgrades/changes esp. collaborating with the internal development team. A great BA will help drive and deliver our proposed solutions as well as to continually improve the entire client experience.

The Business Analyst will also collaborate with our sales and marketing team to propose solutions, estimate effort, and assist with demos to potential customers.

Responsibilities include:

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements
- Translate business requirements from functional specifications to technical stories
- Work with the development teams to design and develop solutions to meet business requirements
- Draft acceptance criteria and perform user testing
- Perform analysis to identify data and platform gaps
- Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction

**General Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Understanding of and experience in regulatory or financial reporting is desirable
- Strong problem solving, analytical and process design skills
