**Your Focus**
As Regional Marketing Leader, you will manage a team of regional Category Marketing and regional Customer Experience Marketing. You will ensure the team successfully develops category strategies while ensuring customers experience best-in-class marketing. With the delivery of value and insights, creativity and engagement, you are expected to build stronger customer relationships and generate growth. You will leverage consumer insights, market data, technical knowledge and business intelligence to lead the team in efforts to support the financial performance of the region.
Close collaboration and alignment with the Regional Sales General Manager is essential, as you will be part of the regional leadership team to help achieve the strategic growth objectives of the Greater Asia region. The role will see you connect and align with other leaders in the Global Marketing & Insights organization to ensure the execution of technologies, products and value propositions are delivered effectively to the market and customers. Demonstrating the ability to become the trusted partner of multiple internal stakeholders (e.g. product management, sales, innovation and communication) is key along with gaining commitment at all levels in the organization to turn plans into actions. Fostering and building strong customer engagement through the identification and development of insightful marketing content and ideas is critical. The role is in our Nourish platform but will be covering the full IFF portfolio.
This is a Singapore based position and part of the Global Marketing & Insights team, the role will report directly to the Global Leader of Regional Marketing based in the U.S.
**How you will contribute and lead**
- Build strong knowledge of our business, portfolio and regional market dynamics, bringing forward relevant insights and recommendations that impact business direction and decisions.
- Build strong team collaboration and support to ensure team is focused on delivering according to plan.
- Lead the Category Marketing team in the development of annual Category Growth Plans. Build on industry insights, business strategies and overall capabilities to define key initiatives, tactics and resources required to grow and defend IFF Greater Asia business.
- Ensure the execution and roll out of the Greater Asia Category Growth plans, monitor and report progress to the Greater Asia leadership teams on a quarterly basis. Track progress against category financials targets, opportunity pipeline targets and milestones for key initiatives. Highlight corrective actions required and decisions to be made.
- Provide leadership and support to the Customer Experience Marketing Team Lead, ensuring activation of the IFF brand to drive value and differentiation across the customer journey in a compelling, creative and inspiring way.
- Ensure we deliver the content, ideas and insights that shape and pull together the strategic story and engagement with customers.
- Recruitment of new talent, performance management with constant focus on developing the team.
- Partner with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure strategies align to overall business objectives.
**Job Requirements**:
**What you will need to be successful**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or relevant discipline. MBA is an added advantage.
- At least 10-12 years of Food & Beverage industry and team management experience.
- Senior, executive level presentation skills with ability to communicate and engage at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work effectively with global, regional and local teams in a multicultural and fast changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills to address challenges in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong business acumen, capability to translate opportunities into solid business cases.
- Create an environment that fosters continuous learning and ensures development opportunities.
- Comprehensive understanding of the components of financial acumen and strong ability to analyze data, create insights and recommend actions based on findings.
- Ability to see the “bigger picture” and translate vision and strategy into understandable goals, priorities and challenges.
