**Job Summary**

The VP of New Product Development is an architect with an ability to devise a variety of creative ideas and be the person that brings the product development pipeline to life across the globe.

**What You’ll Do:
**Lead the Global Innovation Centre in Singapore**
- Build a world class Global Innovation Centre focused on plant-based protein
- Design, recruit and lead a team of food technologists and research associates
- Use rigorous sensory and instrumental techniques to guide progress
- Conduct nutritional, market acceptance and shelf-life studies
- Evaluate new raw materials, ingredients and flavours from suppliers and use to create new product attributes
- Monitor market and consumer trends and recommend product portfolio pipeline to keep Company ahead of market
- Develop and implement new texturization and taste technologies

**Scale up the innovations with our manufacturing partners**
- Implement our products and technologies at our production partners
- Development of new recipes and collaborate closely with customers or partners
- Collaborating closely with production partners in Singapore and around the world
- Be an internal Technical Advisor on product related matters.

**Be a great brainstormer and team player**
- Maintain ongoing communication with different stakeholders to share on emerging new ingredients, packaging, and technology

**Key Requirements, Experience and Qualification**
- 15+ years' experience in food NPD with proven track record of initiative, innovation and research productivity. Ideally with vegan / vegetarian food.
- Preferred a master's degree in Food Technology/Food Science
- Experienced in a B2B/B2C food/ingredient/flavor manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000)
- Strong Communication, Organizational, Process Management, Analytical Skills
- Team player and good communication skills
- Proactive, willing to be highly engaged and hands-on
- Highly energized individual with a can-do attitude
