**About the Role**:
Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking an **Associate Vice President (AVP) - Center of Excellence (CoE)** to drive operational efficiency and productivity across its gas power plants in APAC. This is a newly created **individual contributor (IC) role**, reporting to the **COO (Singapore-based)**, designed to bring technical and strategic expertise to plant operations.

While based at the corporate office, you will collaborate with plant heads across the region, diagnosing inefficiencies, developing solutions, and ensuring optimal performance. Your mission is to **increase plant efficiency, drive automation, and deliver measurable improvements—beyond standard process optimizations.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate and improve operational efficiency across **5-8 gas power plants in APAC**
- Work closely with plant heads to analyze challenges and implement strategic solutions
- Develop automation and efficiency strategies that **deliver tangible performance improvements**
- Act as a corporate-level leader with deep technical understanding, bridging execution with strategy
- Travel regionally as required to oversee projects and drive best practices

**Must-Have Qualifications**:

- **Engineering background** (Mechanical or Electrical) with hands-on experience in **operations and optimization**
- Strong expertise in **traditional energy sectors** (LNG, Coal, Gas Power Plants)
- Proven experience leading operational improvements, automation, and efficiency strategies
- Ability to work at a **corporate level**—balancing strategic oversight with technical knowledge
- Deep understanding of **energy sector**
